OUR STORY
'Necessity is the mother of invention' and Melanie McGee decided it was necessary for mums like her, wanting to 
start a business from home, to feel comfortable in the business world and to have a convenient way to get access to good quality business training and networking...so Supermummy was born! As a Military wife and mum to three children under five Mel left a successful corporate career behind to pursue a dream to run a business from home. But, it wasn't easy. She soon found herself staring into the abyss of too much information while researching and developing her business. She realised that she wasn't alone too. There were many other mums just like her looking for business support, guidance, networking and mentoring. The idea for Supermummy was conceived. Initially there were challenges to overcome in turning her vision for Supermummy into reality but Mel persevered with her vision to make business training easy and accessible for mums everywhere, no matter what stage of their business journey they were on.
Along the way Mel has gained credibility as an expert in home business and the UK's voice for business mums. Media attention has meant two book deals 'The Ultimate Mumpreneur's Guide To Online Business Success' and 'Millionaire Mumpreneurs', newspaper and magazine features, expert blogging on FMWF, TV appearances on ITV and regional business reporting for BBC radio.
